a work in progress

when i was still working for a bank, i invested a small amount of money in stocks. i am no longer with the bank, for the past 4 years to be exact and just this morning a broker called me to provide me with an update. i totally forgot about this investment i made and he gave me today my stock options. i have not really earned that much and i am thinking of selling my shares and just use the money to pay for my NCLEX fees. that’s how small the money i invested and earned is. just enough to pay for the NCLEX fees and expenses. good thing the broker called and reminded me of my shares or i would have totally forgotten about it. at least now i have money to use for my nursing expenses.

boston celtics, won! hooray!

i am not an nba fan and i only watch during finals. im not like my cousins who watch every single game they catch on cable tv. i never liked LA Lakers for the reason that a lot of people were already cheering for them and liked them. i was for boston to win this season and they did! *dance for joy*

one of the things i love doing during my past time is going over my wowo and wawa’s pictures that we have here in the house. it’s the same thing that i usually do when i used to take summer vacations in victorias. no summer vacation is complete without going through my grandparent’s stuff. my wawa keeps all pictures in a chest. same as with my wowo with his rare coin collection. my wowo has managed to collect a lot. most of which he has acquired from trips abroad. i remember wowo proudly showing off his collection one time and telling me of where he got that coin and how. the coins he has apart from us, his family, is his priceless collection he says. even if he was already being offered a good amount of money for his collection he never sold it. this is the same reason that even after he died, it was known to everybody that the coins were not to be sold and were to be just kept in wowo’s chest box.

for lack of good tv shows last night, i was able to finish season 4 of house. it was really good! i stayed up till close to 1am just finishing the tv show and i can’t wait for season 5. this i think is the best season finale for the show ever.

i have to find an HR person for our company till friday and have that person start by monday. we do have a lot of applicants with our jobstreet ad but i have gone over the applications already and i have not found someone i like. this is very stressful, i hate it.  this is just among the other things i have to accomplish till tomorrow.

i can’t exactly explain what happened but all of a sudden my phone would not function properly. it has been like that since saturday. i have had my phone for two years now and honestly, i don’t want to replace it. right now im using an old nokia phone that i have and will have my razr fixed this weekend. the sad thing here is my phone directory is saved in my phone memory not sim. im thinking of getting a new phone, a blackberry. the only reason i want it is because i can get a drug guide for blackberry. having one is going to be super convenient and it really is really useful. hmmm…but i thing the blackberry would have to wait for now.

~had father’s day lunch with the family at abe’s trinoma. abe’s is a favorite restaurant for us. i just had dinner there last friday with friends and then lunch again yesterday.

im thinking of what to get my dad for father’s day. yeah, i am soo bad because father’s day is already on sunday but i still have not bought a gift for daddy. i was thinking of just getting him a shirt (again!) as i can’t think of anything he would really want or need right now. how i wish i can afford to buy him hublot watches. that’s going to be a super great gift for him. maybe when im working as a nurse already i can afford that but for now i can’t. teehee!

i like watches and i think buying a good watch is a really good investment as it is very useful. it’s something you can use everyday. that is why a watch is also a very good gift to give as who would not appreciate one? 40 i currently have 5 watches. of the 5, 4 were gifts from family and friends. the most recent one given by C is my favorite. it’s the watch i almost always wear every time i go out. i feel that a watch apart from earrings complete the outfit.

enough of my blabbing as i have to get back to work now. just realized i have a lot of things to do right now and if i don’t start working i won’t be able to finish things today.
